In the 19th century when realism was implemented it advocated naturalism. Naturalism was also greatly influenced by romanticism. Naturalism is basically an accurate and factual depiction of people, places and things. Naturalism art is trying to create the most realistic art work possible, one must not represent the subject with stylization or interpretation. One of the most popular naturalism artist of the time is William Bliss Baker. He is famous for his landscape paintings that encompass the true meaning of naturalism.
