Renaissance music was from the 1400's until the 1600's. It is a European style music written in the Renaissance. The Renaissance (meaning 'rebirth') was a revival of the arts and high culture under the influence of classical music types, which began in Italy in the 14th century, and spread throughout Europe by the end of the 16th Century.
